5+1 Antinori Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino 2019

Es war ein grosses Ereignis im italienischen Weinbau, als die einzigartige Familie der Antinori 1995 den Erwerb der Tenuta Pian delle Vigne bei Montalcino verkündete. Das konnte nur grossartig werden – und so ist es bis heute. Der 2019er Jahrgang zeigt die ganze mögliche Anmut eines Brunello.

Prestige, elegance and tradition, a label symbol of the denomination. Olfaction refined, notes of dogwood, eucalyptus and touches of bergamot. Crunchy-dense palate, with briny tannins, returns with balsamic and citrusy notes.

Sweet black cherries with some blackberries, as well as cherry blossom in both the nose and palate. Medium to full body with firm tannins and a chewy finish, but it will soften and come together nicely with bottle age. Try after 2025.

Dark ruby red, bright. Fine hints of mint, ripe cherries and cranberries on the nose, fine balsamic tones on the finish. Great juiciness on the palate, clear fruit and well-integrated acidity, opens warm-hearted and full-bodied, fine salty finish.
